1. Poor diagnosis when i explained up front the problem. I had to go back and charge the EV up again to show the problem even though i requested they do it so they can see the problem. That caused my car to be there for like 2 months needlessly because they dont' have an in house EV tech apparently. 2. When my was ready it was unsafe to drive. They had let the 12v battery completely die again and didn't charge it up. They just jumped it and didnt' tell me. SO when i got down the road 5 minutes later it was dead again. I had to have my wife come out with a jump box, inconveniencing us both. 3. My front tires were severely under inflated and it was visible. 4. My EGR fuse was blown causing my gas engine to be unavailable. The tech should have known to unplug the EGR and replace the fuse, the way he found it. He clearly didnt' scan for codes before giving the car back to me.This caused me to later have to pull over in the cold and unplug it and replace the fuse on the side of the road (to get my gas engine working again), which could have also been dangerous. I want to reiterate my car should have only been with them a week. i dropped it off nov 5th i believe, and picked it up like jan 17th. It wasn't even GM's fault, it was the dealers fault.

At first I wasn’t sure about coming to this dealership when I called to see if someone was available because the receptionist said to just call back later everyone was in a meeting, I tried to tell her that I was coming more than an hour away and I didn’t want to waste a trip. I was displeased! My car would not start. The issue was addressed with a new battery and new ignition switch. My car still would not start and I was told to have an electrician check my car because there was no communication between the fob and my car. Since the dealer could not fix it, I was confused. I still had to pay $700.00 to retrieve my car, plus towing costs and labor costs.

Normally love Waldorf Chevrolet. Last several years, not so much. Always seems to be an issue. 2020 your service department did a transmission flush. Mechanics did not put the seal on correctly and I had to bring it back several times in order to correct. In 2024 during a routine oil change, the correct amount of oil was not used. It caused the oil change light to come on constantly. Calls to service ended with them telling me to reset oil change manually from console screen. Eventually, I just drove it back to the service department where I was told that the oil level was not correct. This year, I asked for oil change and to add air to tires as it was garaged all winter. After picking up the car, the tire pressure was never checked nor is it on the ticket. Also, one of your porters or mechanics paired their phone to my cars radio. Why? Did he take it joy riding? I should have paid attention to the mileage before and after.

I came to the dealership really just to look at the inventory. My husband and I started looking on our own, and a few minutes later Larry showed up. Honestly if he hadn’t come over to greet us, I would have just looked around and went about my day. However we started talking to Larry and realized how knowledgeable about the inventory he was, so we decided to look in a few cars and drove two. I had previously purchased a Chevy Equinox and was happy with it, but was ready to possibly upgrade. After driving the Equinox Larry even took the time to open the hood and explain the safety feature. I’m pretty sure out of all the trips to a car dealership that I have been on that no one has ever done this before. Larry definitely knew his stuff when it comes to these cars and I was very impressed. He was very attentive and communicated with us the entire time about everything. Which was awesome bc I am a girl who knows nothing about buying cars or cars. I would not have got a car that day if it were not for Larry, he truly is an asset to your company. He has a way of making ppl feel comfortable and because he is knowledgeable he is confident and is able to build a connection with his clients. Please give this man a raise and a pat on the back bc he is awesome. I will definitely buy cars from this dealership in the future but ONLY from Larry.

It was my worst nightmare. If it wasn't for Mason who was my service advisor and literally went way above and beyond the call of duty, I would have went on a rampage through there. Nobody wanted to listen to me, but that doesn't happen when the try to sell you a new car. I got no loaner car, no rental car, had to take a Uber to and from the dealership which was totally unacceptable, it will never happen again believe me it won't. And I'm far from being done, because financing WILL reimburse me for my 6 yr extended warranty which costed me $3373.00, and now because I wanna cancel it, they wanna prorate it, that's not gonna happen, because I can an will put a suit against the dealership, there was no talk about pro rating when they wanted me to buy the warranty, in fact the warranty has not even been used, it's still covered under the basic 3 yr 36000 mile warranty which doesn't expire til Jan of 2026, so that prorating nonsense is nothing but total BS, they might work on someone else, but definitely won't work with me. So I suggest whoever gets financing straightened out because I'm not playing games with nobody there. and yes I have connections with a few people at GM corporate, definitely not afraid to call on them if needed.

The dealership recommended a break job for my car when I had no indication that I needed breaks. Okay, I understand that, but the breaks begin squealing and continued to squeal. I had to return it to the dealership four (4) times to get the squealing to stop and I was told that GM does not warranty break components because they make noise. This should be told to the customer before they pay over $3,500.00 for a break job.

I recently bought a Certified Used Chevy 2021 Silverado Duramax from the dealership on May 9. However, before buying the truck, I was told that the Check Engine Light that came on during my test drive was addressed and resolved before I returned to retest drive the truck and ultimately buying the truck. I was convinced over and over that the truck was good. A week after owning the truck and two actual drives, the CEL returned (May 16). I called the service department and set up a time to return the truck. When dropping off the truck (May 13), I was told to bring the truck back to the Used Lot and have the manager Jeantry to have it looked at by their “technician”. The “technician” who isn’t a “diesel tech” determined it needed a new NOx sensor and to go ahead and bring it back to the service department. The used lot Manager did not even address me when all of that was happening. The salesman Joshua was the only one communicating with me during that hour. There was no interaction until Josh asked me if I spoke with his manager. Bottom line is, you want my business before I buy the truck, you convince me everything is great then the friendly customer service is gone once I, the customer, returns with issues. Horrible customer service from the dealer to the service department. I returned back to the service department side where I was processed through by Antonio and he explained to me that there is no diesel tech onsite in the service department. So there will be a 2-3 business day delay on the diagnosis and repair. He also told me my assigned service advisor Adam would give me a call to update me the following day, which Adam never did. I tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. I then remembered there was a text message saying that I can reach out via text for updates. My first text was replied to within 3 minutes but that’s all I received. It was a week later May 27th I was told the truck was ready for pick up by a quick phone call from Adam with no explanation of the work performed until I had to stop him from hanging up the phone to answer my question. When I picked up the truck, the individual who pulled up the truck did not know how to speak when I acknowledged him and thanked him. All I know is the moment I walked into the service department that evening, each individual looked and acted like they hate their job and have no welcoming presence towards their customers. I left the service department feeling relieved that the truck was finally “fixed” I drove straight home with no issues. The next morning May 28th, I drove the truck to work and not even 10 minutes in to my drive, the CEL returned. I called the service department first thing in the morning and again, when selecting the #2 option, it went straight to voicemail. I called back and spoke to the scheduling lady and explained to her the situation. She ended up being the middle man in a conversation between me and Adam, instead of transferring the line to for me to talk to Adam. She eventually returned to the phone and told me to bring the truck back that day. I returned the truck around 3:45 and Adam was not there so Antonio processed me again. This time Antonio was not as professional as he was the first time I visited. As I was explaining what was going on and why I was returning the truck, he cut me off mid sentence and asked me for my keys and phone number. Then said again “Adam will be in contact tomorrow to update you on your truck”. AGAIN, no update from Adam until I contacted him. Please stop telling your customers that the service advisor will contact you because they will not. The truck is still at the service department and it is now June 4th. I contacted Adam again on my own yesterday June 3rd since I haven’t seen or heard anything about the status of my truck. The update response I received was “ Tech is still diagnosing it,” and this is 4 business days after drop off. I responded again to his message and did not get a response. I just want my truck to be repaired correctly and provided some kind of status. I don’t understand why the repairs are taking so long and I have no hope with the customer service your service department provides. How do I build trust in a dealership as a whole if you all lack the practice of communication, accountability and transparency. This is not the first vehicle I have ever brought to this particular location, however, this is the first time I have bought and brought a vehicle to this dealership since changing ownership from Ken Dixon Chevrolet to Waldorf Chevrolet. Please do better across the entire dealership because your patrons work hard to purchase vehicles and place a lot of trust in the hands of the service department when those vehicles have issues.

Upon dropping off my car my sales rep was great however, when I returned to pickup my car I was standing at the door instead being asked did I need help or am I dropping off or picking up. I would not have wasted at least 10 minutes. The guy who goes retrieves the cars was nice enough to ask me if I have been helped. My breaks are still screeching like they haven’t been fixed. Also my rep had alcohol coming out of his pores so he should not be driving a vehicle. Thank you!

This was the worst customer service experience that I’ve ever had. I was in the waiting room for almost three hours and no one updated me on my vehicle. I had to ask if my vehicle was ready. At first the advisor, not my service advisor, couldn’t find my vehicle. Then I saw my key on the desk next to his. As it turned out, service advisor James was assigned to me. I never even spoke to him. He never came to the waiting room to update me on my vehicle. I checked in with someone else and I guess he assigned James to me. After I showed the guy my key, he checked me out. James had written down a bunch of things that he suggested to get done to my vehicle. There is no way that I would’ve stayed any longer to get anything extra done. The oil change and tire rotation took three hours. I am going to tell everyone that I know about the horrible experience I had at Waldorf Chevy service department.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! I don't even know where to start, every time I come in here it's never a good interaction. To begin they sit here and try to make you feel like you're dumb and have no idea what you're talking about. It's my vehicle, and I know what package was purchased. They always say there is no warranty, nor a prepaid maintenance package. Which is not true, they just send you an invoice without even bother looking. Not to mention they print out everything else you've paid for. Which I already know, there is no need for that as I have a copy of my own contract. It's just a waste of time. They don't care about you nor your vehicle. Always trying to respond sarcastically, which in fact is never funny considering they try to make you feel like you have no idea what you're talking. Sit here and whisper the entire time like you're crazy, they don't care what you have to say. Then they make you go look for your vehicle after the service has been completed. Ridiculous! They don't diagnose what you tell them, if it's scheduled for oil change that's what they're gonna do. Shouldn't have to waste my whole day for an oil change.

I had a very complex problem with my vehicle which resulted in two tows to the dealership with the same electrical problem. It was hard to diagnose because the fairlure to start my vehicle occurred sporaticallyt. On the two occasions I had my vehicle towed to the dealership, my vehicle started with no problem. I commend the service department manager Rick Clontz for his relentless efforts to diagnose, identify and repair this elusive electrical problem. My only complaint is I had to contact my service rep for the status of my vehicle. Plus, after paying out of pocket expenses, I found out my vehicle was still under warranty. This is something my service rep should have know in the beginning. I am still waiting for my refund minus the deductible. I have been driving my vehicle for the past two weeks with no starting problems. Thanks to Rick and his service department workers.

I brought my vehicle in due to a persistent noise and paid a premium just to have it diagnosed—yet I left with no resolution. The issue still hasn't been fixed, and I feel like I wasted both my time and money. This has been by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Chevrolet dealership. What’s truly disheartening is that I now have to cross state lines just to get proper service for a brand-new vehicle I purchased from a dealer less than five miles from my home. That’s unacceptable.

Called and made an appointment due to the service brake pad monitor light. Arrived and planned to wait for my vehicle. Tommy stated that it could take at least a whole day to figure out the problem. When Tommy called his voicemail stated I needed brakes and rotors resurfaced. I just had my brakes checked and knew I did not need them. I declined Chevrolet doing the work. I then took it to a different shop. They showed me my brakes are 8mm and did not need to be replaced. They showed that the sensor was messed up and causing the light to come on. In order to replace the sensor brakes and rotors would need to be replace. Tommy did not explain or say anything about the sensor.

This experience was nothing short of your worst nightmare. How can any shop let a vehicle leave their facility without ensuring that all the lug nuts from each tire are completely tightened? This body shop left my child's life in the hands of God by sending him on the road with loose lug nuts. The tire started to wobble as they started to come off on Old Washington Road. When he pulled over his was missing a wheel lock and two lug nuts. This shop should be shutdown and owner banded from all GM business. The wheel could have come off in traffic and caused an accident with other cars. COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

My main concern with the service visit is the fact that a recommendation to have my rear brakes replaced when in actuality this same dealership just replaced my rear brakes in April of 2025. As I told Mr Turner the General Manager, my experience was very, very disappointing. I brought my 2023 Traverse on AUGUST 25th in for an issue that seems to be a manufacturing problem and NOT an issue I created. I was told I'd get a loaner because it's warranty work just to find out no loaner are available and I be out on a list. That was August 25th and I still waiting. I found out I could get a rental and I would be reimbursed, later I found out that I will only be reimbursed once the diagnostic is done. So I call and text the service advisor trying to get my car diagnosed but no response. I reached out to the service manager and to this day never heard back for him. I finally called the GM. Long story short the customer SHOULD NOT have to suffer because the dealership is short staffed or whatever the problem. I've called and ask for almost two weeks just trying to get the diagnostic done so I don't have to pay a car note and for a rental that supposed or should taken care. In my opinion the extremely poor customer service and I think my rental should be covered for the entire time. Don't know if this letter is going to do any good because it doesn't seem that my countless call and text did. I sincerely hope something is done and that writing this is not just another waist of time. I plan to keep pursuing this matter reach out to the owner of the dealership or GM because I truly believe Im being made to take on a financial burden that I shouldn't have to.

I had not purchased a vehicle through traditional bank financing in over 20 years! Many will probably agree that the car buying process can be overwhelming and most definitely nerve-wracking. Not in my case. My salesman, Ken Pankey, made my experience a very pleasant one and I am so very appreciative. From the beginning of my visit, Mr. Pankey was very kind, engaging and thorough with his questions when trying to determine what I was looking for in a new vehicle, driving habits/needs and price points, etc. I test drove a really sharp Trailblazer but while driving it, something felt off. Then I tried out the Equinox and it felt like I had been driving the car for a much longer time. It was much more comfortable and of course, beautiful! In both instances, Mr. Pankey thoroughly explained many of the features for each vehicle, options, warranties, etc. I ultimately decided on the 2026 Equinox RS. The financing portion of the day went well and wasn't as painful as I had envisioned. Mr. Pankey was in frequent communication with me while my application was being reviewed. At the end of the long day, I drove out of the dealership in my snazzy new vehicle, with manageable financing terms, relieved heart and huge smile! Thank you, Kenny! I love my new car!

I had a poor experience in this particular dealer!i drove 3 hours to get the truck that i wanted!but getting there i was surprised that the truck had 3830 miles that they never mentioned!it was a loaner car!and they told me that was the reason the truck was discounted!but i see similar truck with similar discount!Dionna talked to Manager 1 and they offered me $500 discount!but when i signed the OTD price it was stil $34,782 and Manager 2 (different person) told me that there's no more discount because that what we agreed on!but my point was Manager 1 offered me $500 discount because of lack of communication about the mileage of the truck!on my way home about 8 miles on the Odometer i see a rock chip on the windshield!being the car is a loaner it might happen while it was in a someone possesion!i addressed the issue and they told me it was priced according to actual vehicle!it was sold cheaper!so if you asking me if i recomend this dealer my answer is NO!you guys need transparency for your customer!Dionna was great she's helpfull!and i think she tried her best to make it right but what they offered me to get things right did not happened

My new truck was exactly what I was looking for, but the trade-in offer for my previous vehicle was lower than the monthly estimate the dealership had offered. The delivery experience did not meet my expectations, nor that of management. I await a call to have the vehicle recleaned and the swirls in the paint removed. Front desk lady was unwelcoming and appeared as if I was bothering her. The cashier girl was stoic and borderline rude. My issue wasn’t addressed or discussed with me until I raised a few questions. If my business is not wanted there, I can go somewhere else.

I had my vehicle towed to the dealership on December 27, 2025. When I arrived I was informed that the dealership does not conduct diagnostic test on Saturdays and I would have to wait until Monday. I left my vehicle there. As there were no loaner's available I had to rent a vehicle. On Monday December 29, 2025 at 1:04pm I received a call from my advisor. He indicated that the vehicle would need a new battery and then further diagnostics would be conducted. As i had not received an update, I contacted my advisor via text message at 5:36pm on the same date. At 8:53am on December 30, 2025 I received a message indicating that the battery was installed and the vehicle was still being diagnosed to see if there were any more issues. At 4:10pm I again reached out and was informed that the technician needed to complete one more drive cycle and it would be ready first thing on December 31, 2025 if everything was ok. I finally received a message that my vehicle was ready at 8:47am on December 31, 2025. I was highly disappointed in the amount of time it took and the cost of what turned out to be a battery replacement. Something that I would have saved $100 and 4 days worth of time at Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone. In addition to the money I spent on having to rent a vehicle.

Mason was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to explaining the wheel lock on my tires that I was not aware of. Unfortunately , this dealership doesn’t have a mastery key for official GM locks (i’m not sure why). But he gave options on what could be done on their end to remove the locks. I ultimately decided to contact the dealership I bought my car from.

I had a decent experience at the service department. Carlos, the quality assurance rep., was so polite and engaging. He advocates very well for the department and does his best to ease our concerns and explain the processes the mechanics use. However, Waldorf Chevrolet/Cadillac's service reps should be more forthcoming about required/recommended services and not be vague in order to generate more funds at a future date. The cost is extreme and quite off putting. Nevertheless, I have no complaints that can be satisfactorily addressed, I guess it's just the cost of vehicle ownership. Further, Carlos should be greatly appreciated, applauded and rewarded for being an extremely professional and cordial human being.

For starters I received a warm welcome (a believe his name was Larry) even before entering the showroom to meet with Dionna and he let me know where the refreshments were located and took me to meet Dionna. Dionna is wonderful, knowledgeable and personable, she kept me up to date with every process along the way and it was a long process, 5 hours I think. I'm glad I had a hearty breakfast. Decisions are harder when you're hangry. I really appreciated the manager (forgot his name my apologies!) looking at different financing options for me as well as length of terms to before I got to financing. For me I like to have an idea of numbers beforehand to start processing, that was a big help! James in financing is also personable and knowledgeable along with a few laughs. He worked hard to make sure we were completely satisfied with everything. The treatment I received I said "I feel like a queen." I have been happy with my Ford vehicle over the years but I may consider a Chevy in the future.
